 Hey
there! My name is Stanley and I am a sweet boy
from a shelter in North Alabama. I am four years old and I weigh in at a trim 45
pounds. When I came into the Rescue I had a minor skin
irritation that was easily cleared up and now I look smashing!
Due to my skin issues I look at little bit older, but I am a fun and
playful boy and very affectionate! I have something they call dry eye, which mean I will have to take
eye ointment for it...but it is no big deal to me. I also have
my very own special food that I get to eat for my kidney to keep me
healthy. I am a slobber slinger to rival all others...but that
is just one more thing that will endear me to you, but it does not
help my skin issues. My foster mom has a treatment for me that
works great! Do you want to know what it is? LISTERINE!
She just sprays it on me and it helps me a lot...plus I am always
minty fresh! My foster mom is also happy to report that I am
really good at bath time. I stand there like a statue and let
you get me all clean! I am a gentleman, indeed, I get along with even
the fussiest of Bassets and I even like cats too! I am a
really mushy boy and I will curl up next to you for hugs and kisses.
Just one look from my sad Basset eyes and I will melt your heart! If you are interested in a sweet, loving boy,
I am your man!
Foster Failure!
After much of a debate his foster parents have decided that they
can't part with Stanley. He has been in their family since July of
2008 and this is the only home he knows. He completes their family
and they are so happy that he will be with them forever!
