Does one particular hound on our “available for adoption” pages really tug at your heartstrings?  Does that dog “speak to you” and make you want to help?  … but perhaps your situation is such that you just can’t adopt a dog, or maybe you can’t adopt that dog, that may have special needs and a really touching story... 

Here’s your chance!  You may sponsor that special hound!  For a donation to BHRA on its behalf, we’ll happily do this:
·        List you on that hound’s webpage as a sponsor
·        Provide a receipt for your tax-deductible donation
·        Give you regular updates on the dog’s progress and ultimate adoption

So many of our hounds have special needs that make us really dig deeply into our pocketbook (which is pretty small in the first place); once we’ve taken on the responsibility for any dog, we must address all its needs… not just a few.  It really, really hurts to have to turn away some precious babies because of the money we’ve had to spend on others.  Your donation means so much!
