Hi People!  My name is Roscoe and I am a sweet boy with gentle eyes.  I was previously owned by a family since 2003 and I was recently attacked by a Pit-bull.  I had some pretty extensive injuries and my people just dropped me off at the vet.  When they found out how much my heartworm (yes...I was heartworm positive) treatments and my injury repair would cost, they abandoned me.  I have had little to no veterinary care in a few years, but considering all of this I am in pretty good health.  I am housebroken and I LOVE my crate.  I put myself in there for naps and at bedtime, open door!  I just love it!  It is my safe place.  I have a very gentle manner and a sweet nature.  I am an absolute LOVER!  I adore being petted and having my face all schmooshed and my ears massaged!  Very, very affectionate.  Sometimes I get a little jealous of other dogs and I might growl at them when my person is close by...but I show no signs of aggression.  I show no signs of food aggression and eat right with the other dogs I am currently bunking with!  I am playful but I prefer being inside to outside.  I am right at home curled up in a chair.  Please call BHRA for more info about me!
