Rambo came into Rescue from an Alabama Shelter.  Mom and I took him in as a foster and fell in love.  He was a funny boy for sure and took to me like he had known me all his life.  He loved to jump up in my lap and lay while watching TV.  If for some reason I wouldn't let him in my lap, he would then jump up on the footstool and lay down and watch my every move with those big brown eyes of his until I gave in and let him in my lap.  He played hard with the other dogs and at bedtime he slept hard.  He loved to sleep under the covers at my feet as if he knew my feet were always cold.  Before we would turn the lights out to go to bed we always had play time, where I would deliberately mess with his back feet (he couldn't stand for you to touch his back feet).  We then would play slap face or tug of war until he would catch me off guard and give me a slimy kiss on the face.

Rambo would always pretend to be the official guard dog of the yard.  He would stay out until the very end, long after all the others had given up and gone in.  Sometimes we would even have to go outside with a leash to bring him in.

Rambo was my buddy and my friend and left us way to early in his life.  He was loved very much and you could tell he loved us and was happy.  No other can ever take his place and he will forever be missed.
